Robert Aloo, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for Chiana-Paga, expressed confidence in winning the parliamentary seat in the Chiana-Paga constituency. He emphasized the groundwork and engagement efforts undertaken by his campaign, asserting that the party’s initiatives in the constituency have garnered positive responses from the electorate.

“You know that all is done, and by 7th December, you’ll be declared the winner. So for me, I’m not terrified. I am very confident—very, very confident, I must say—that the seat will move to the NPP. We are only waiting for confirmation.”

He highlighted key projects implemented by the NPP, including the ongoing Agenda 111 health initiative, the construction of an assembly block, and a new shea nut factory, all aimed at boosting local employment and health services.

Aloo noted that these visible projects demonstrate the party’s commitment to improving the lives of residents, and he believes voters will recognize this when casting their ballots. “We are not just talking. We engage with the electorate. The work that the NPP has done in the Chiana-Paga constituency shows that the people appreciate what is happening, and they are ever prepared to give their power to Robert Aloo and the NPP in the Chiana-Paga constituency.” He added, “The work that the NPP has done in Chiana-Paga is very clear, and the people are very happy with what we have accomplished.”

The candidate also pointed to the construction of several school blocks across the constituency as further evidence of the NPP’s dedication to education and community development. According to him, he has been actively involved in lobbying for these projects, conveying his belief that the electorate is prepared to support him based on what he describes as the ‘tangible benefits’ they have seen. “These are projects that are tangible, and the people can see.” He remarked, “I am one of those who have lobbied for some of these projects to be constructed.”

Mr. Aloo expressed optimism about the election results, claiming that by the evening of December 7, the NPP will celebrate victory. “I know the work I’ve done, and I know the work my party has done. Putting this together, I know I’m ahead of my opponent.” He added, “He knows the work I have done, and he is struggling. He’s changing positions. He’s not comfortable; he’s not sure of himself.”

He remains confident that his hard work and the achievements of his party will resonate with voters, leaving him ahead of his opponent in the race. “We are going to celebrate our victory on 7th December, and I can assure you, NPP, by 9 PM/10 PM on 7th December, we will know our fate because the work has been done.”
