Ghanaian musician and philanthropist Samuel Asaa, popularly known as SamAiam, has encouraged Senior High School students to take their studies seriously.

The California-based artist, who is currently hosting his Asaa Music Festival in Bolgatanga, emphasized the importance of education in shaping their future.

Addressing the students, SamAiam urged them to “marry their books” and strive for academic excellence.

He stressed that education is the key to unlocking their potential and pursuing their desired professions. According to SamAiam, education is the foundation upon which their future success will be built.

“I want to call on you to take your studies seriously. That is the only way you can rise. If you take your books seriously, you can go to the universities and other higher institutions, and you can become a musician or pursue any other profession you wish for yourself,” he said.

The Asaa Music Festival, now in its third year, aims to promote unity and love among the people of the Upper East and Northern Ghana. This year’s edition kicked off with a health walk and health screening on March 1, 2025, attracting hundreds of participants, including youth groups and students.

The international superstar called on the people of the Upper East Region to come together and support his efforts in making the Asaa Music Festival one of the most memorable events in the region.

SamAiam also took the opportunity to appreciate his team members’ support, as well as all his sponsors, especially Project Africa in the United States.
